2020 and beyond

If the old ways are no longer effective, it’s time to create new ways.  You know when something is effective.  It makes a difference immediately. 

What ways are no longer effective?  Are you still using them?  Why?  “Effectiveness is the truth of measure.”  If it is effective you can measure it.  If not, then the measure is “ineffective”.

Often “necessity” is the “mother of invention”.  When something stops working we can persevere to observe if change will happen, or we can be proactive and seek new ways that are effective.  The old quote “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is a great saving on unnecessary fixes, yet it will often lead to a reactive breakdown fixes, unless you do regular  maintenance and monitoring.  Maintenance and monitoring are proactive measures to check how any process is travelling.

In 2020 and beyond, how are you travelling?  
Assess – what is working? What is not?  
Identify – what are you willing to do?
