Healing

What is healing? Some associate healing with curing, helping to heal, getting well and mending, and others as a process to regain health.  To Sharonmcl it’s about balance, and understanding for each individual this may be different.  Healing can occur without curing.  Sometimes healing is not about getting well, it may be about clearing, connecting, accepting and surrendering.

Healing occurs on many levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual to name a few.  Healing will mean different things to different people, as it will depend on what level is currently healing.  This means that healing can take on different forms in different people, and depending on the level, what healing modality is most effective.

Sharonmcl is a great believer in “Parallel Thinking” (De Bono 1994).  All things sit beside each other, we do not judge what each thing is; we just call upon which ‘thing’ is most effective for the individual situation.  This theory works in any field, as it about non-judgement and accepting that all has value and gives a wider field of choice with “parallel possibilities”.  This means that what previously would have been classed as ‘contradictory’ can now be parallel, and a solution by design, can occur from outside of the box.

In healing this means to embrace all healing fields and modalities.  This can be challenging for any one that has had a bad experience in one of the healing fields, or has been indoctrinated into a field to believe it is the only way.  In the early nineties, Sharonmcl heard a suggestion on opening to healing from one Grand Master; “Stand facing a corner of the room, then turn and see the whole room”.   Sharonmcl would go beyond that and say “see the whole room and the doorway that leads to other rooms, and to an outer door that leads to a greater space and a greater space and continue opening if you choose; or stand in the corner, which do you prefer?  Which do you believe has the potential to open to healing?”

Sharonmcl has worked with clients since 1990, and observed in that time, that if a condition was physically based, then physical means would shift it, however if it was emotional, mental or spiritual, then physical means didn’t clear it, or it would re-manifest in another form.  Healing or balance occurs on many levels.  The challenge is to find ways that assist you to maintain your balance on many levels.  With each individual it is important to work within the structure of their beliefs.  Sharonmcl finds that it is helpful to address what beliefs are your own and what are ones that you have taken on from your lineage or environment.

There are many modalities that offer to maintain balance on many levels.  The modalities that Sharonmcl found highly effective are: Yoga practice, including breath, meditation, postures and relaxation; Meditation, including breath, visualisation, prayer or affirmation, sutras, focus on the chakras, mantra, chanting, seed sounds, awakening your light body, focus on the elements, intuitive meditation journey’s and more; Moving Meditation, including chi nadi, qigong, taichi and even chiball and yoga flows; Art therapy, including any medium, mandalas, and sand play, Music therapy, including playing, singing, writing and listening to inspirational music, and all energy work, including Reiki Jin Kei Do, Enersense, Awakening your light body, Shamanic healing, Past life healing, Flower Essences, and Angel therapy.  Coaching and counselling is effective when the doorway that is open is used, and combined with tools to assist the individual, such as inner family, self-esteem and self-confidence work, archetypal or persona work, cognitive behavioural therapy, etc.

In 2002 Sharon wrote these words on Healing, and she still finds them relevant today:

“Change begins with awareness.  Wholeness comes from regulating your energies on all levels.  Health is when you are in perfect balance.  Healing is when you have recognized your imbalance and are taking measures to balance.

Physically – The body is constantly giving us messages about how we are in our lives and ourselves.  Initially, the body gives tiny whispers; and you must be very aware to hear these whispers.  Then it gets louder and louder.  If you don’t listen it will scream at you by becoming illness.  Listen, Feel and see the little whispers.

Emotions – Are signposts/messages to you on how you are coping in your self/life/environment/relationships.  On a deeper level they are the gifts to understanding yourself.  Be aware that deep emotions come from a deeper root, and you need to heal the root.  Emotions are not meant to be control, but processed.  This creates flow.

Mental state – So you think, you become.  Your thoughts create your reality.  What is real?  What is illusion?  You can change your mental state by healing it.  It has come for a reason.

Spiritual/Essence – Some are disconnected from their essence/spirit.  Some are too much spirit and neglect the physical body.  We are spiritual beings having a human experience.  So be here now.  Bring your spirit into your life.  Indeed bring your soul.”

Awareness is a key. Knowing yourself so well, you know when you are out of balance, and you know what will work for you and what you will be a challenge to work with, within your belief structure.  Sharonmcl has written a prayer or affirmation below, that you may consider using for yourself, or you may find the words to write your own.  For this I pray or affirm, may all beings be happy, healthy and free from suffering.

The Prayer:  “We confess that we don’t always look after ourselves on all levels, and we notice that when we become unaware that is when we are out of balance. We acknowledge and affirm, that we are now ready to be aware, conscious of our balance on all levels, and that we can quickly and easily rebalance on all levels.  We honour and ask for the assistance from all archangels, ascendant masters, elementals and beings of the highest light to guide us on the highest path to health and wellbeing on all levels.  We appreciate our health and wellbeing on all levels, so we can be all that we can be when we are in perfect balance.  Thank you for all the support and assistance as we awaken as a group to our healing on all levels.  Blessings be.”

In 2019 sharonmcl published her book “Wounded to Wow – a path to oneness”.  This book was written as a guide to assist all to find their way.  It has four parts and 100 exercises within it, that will be helpful for your journey.  In 2020 sharonmcl started an online series to offer an extension for those ready for more.  It is called “The Probability of Wow – living in oneness” with Parts 5-9.  Parts 5 “Wow living”and 6 “Higher integration and expansion” were recorded.  In 2021 Part 7 was to be recorded but the energies were fluxing so much it was put on hold.  Part7 is about “creating a new you”, Part8 is about “creating a new world”.  Part9 is about “we are one in wow living”.  Sharonmcl is looking forward to next space for recording further Parts online.  (Prerequisite is all previous parts 1-4, 5-6 etc, completed with sharonmcl.)  Contact sharonmcl if you feel you have completed all 100 exercises from the original book and are ready for more.
