Start thinking about your NEW YEAR GOALS: – it’s an opportunity to create or update, whatever you choose to call them, your resolutions, your goals or your affirmations. #meditationweekwithsharonmcl As you reach the turning point that comes about from the changeover, from one year to the next, you have the opportunity to assess the year that was – Did you achieve what you set out to do? What did you learn in this past year? What are you still working on? Take this knowledge into your assessment of the year that is coming – What do you want to achieve in coming year? What do want to learn? What do you want to work on? In your assessment you may choose to use cards to assist in understanding more. You may choose a card for each question, and also for each month. Through this process you will be able to have a clearer picture of what you want; defining your desires and needs, identifying things to overcome, seeing yourself achieve and process negatives; checking in as the months go by if you are where you wish to be. It is good to write your goals in the form of affirmations – see the reflection on “The Magic of Affirmations” with impact. For example: I am empowered, alive and energetic. I move every day in the way that enhances my body, mind and spirit. I drink fluids and eat only foods that energise my body, mind and spirit. Remember: Your affirmations are personal, so should be confidential, only sharing with those who will respect your goals. You may also choose a Mission Statement which you could link to your Life Purpose. How do you know what this is for you? Read the reflection: Life Purpose your Mission Statement Take this opportunity to create the life you deserve. Right NOW – release your fears, heal your wounds, and start anew in this coming year. For now: Imagine a filter of light that surrounds you. This filter allows only the positive constructive healing thoughts and feelings in, and releases and dissolves any negative destructive thoughts and feelings out.
