Finding your way, knowing the signs
How often are there signs, but we ignore or miss them?…. I love the road sign, that markets by saying something similar to “looking for a sign, this is a sign and it’s available for you.” The trick is how you know the sign is for you. If you believe there are signs, then every sign can have meaning for you. You just need to know what question, the message is answering. Breathe and meditate to know your questions and receive your answers more clearly. I tell a story of when I was teaching metaphysical studies in the 90s, and I had given the assignment of each individual to observe “the signs”. In this case we were seeking signs for the physical body. Later that night, a student observed a dark line between her big toe and her second. She contemplated the meaning, considering Louise Hays ideas on body parts, and the potential meaning. After a period of contemplation, she leant down and realised it was “just a piece of string” between her toes. We laughed. I use this story as an example that in life; sometimes there is a very clear message, sometimes it’s more challenging to find the message and other times it’s “just a piece of string”. I teach students to awaken their awareness of what are the signs around them “right now”. Then to find a way to interpret. Of course, you need to know your question, before you seek the answer or the messages. What is your question? What tools do you have that can assist you? If you are seeking assistance understanding your question, your tools or your symbolic signs, just ask.
