Sixth Insight

‘The Celestine Prophecy’ by  James Redfield; although a parable – a story with a message – there are many profound words of wisdom within the nine original insights offered.  In Brief: 1. life evolves with coincidences; 2. construct a new world view; 3. universe is a system of energy; 4. conflict is a shortage and manipulation of this energy; 5. end conflict, receive energy from a higher source; 6. Clear out old repeated patterns; 7. evolution to true self through question, intuition and answer; 8. relate to others in new way; 9. reveal where evolution is taking us.

The Sixth Insight is all about clearing out old repeated patterns.  It is about facing the way you control others.  Be fully conscious of your childhood patterns, that begin as unconscious control drama.

The unconscious control dramas of our family are:

Aloof – withdraw, look mysterious and secretive

Interrogator – asking questions and probing to find wrong, pulling others off their path

Intimidator – aggressive or passive, playing on sympathy for attention

Poor Me – focus on the horrible, and if you refuse to help, the horrible things will continue.  They play on guilt.

It is often easy to see Poor Me, Aloof, Interrogator, or Intimidator in others, and not notice these control drams within ourselves.  To clear it, it is about re-interpreting your family experience from a evolutionary spiritual view, to discover your true self.  Be aware, why and where you were born to a particular family, for what purpose?  What meaning has your father/mother left you?

This is just another way to find your true self.  Just as characterology will uncover your defence states, the sixth insight assists to view your control dramas.

Consider why you repeat patterns.
