Spiritual Tests

Once you walk down the spiritual path, how many times will you be tested??

For me it seems, how ever many times it takes for you to learn your lessons.  It also seems the higher you go on your path, the deeper the lessons go.  Speaking from my own experience, the spiritual path can appear like a path winding up a mountain.  There are times plateaux are reached, for a period, and then the upward journey begins again.

The tests and challenges commonly occur at either end of the climb, however being on a plateau can be challenging unto itself, if you are eager to get on your way.  If you look at all things as a part of the journey, virtues or qualities are your goals.  Deities, angels, archangels and ascendant masters can assist you with the virtues or qualities you may seek.

The dark night of the soul, is like a plateau where you feel you are neither going forward or back, but in a space where you seem to loose your connection to spirit.  It is at this time you are being rewired for a higher vibration or level.  It is just a shift, prior to an upward lift.  However, if you don’t understand this, or you don’t have a spiritual guide or teacher, you may feel very alone.  Know you are never alone.

Another way of perceiving your journey is like a stone or crystal, that with each challenge or test becomes a facet, that builds to the shine of the stone that becomes a brillant gem.  Depending on your chosen path, how and what skills you develop.  Knowing who you are, and your life purpose will assist you.
